dubai11 of the Best Places to Visit in Dubai

In Dubai, there are so many places to visit that it can be difficult to decide where to go first! Luckily, this list of the best places to visit in Dubai will help you narrow your options and make sure you don’t miss out on any of the awesome things to do while you’re there. Here are 11 great options!

The Burj Khalifa

The tallest building on Earth, The Burj Khalifa towers more than half a mile over Downtown Dubai. At its highest point, you’ll find an observation deck that offers views for miles and miles around. It’s definitely one of our favorite places to visit in Dubai!

The Dubai Mall,

A shopping haven in the heart of downtown Dubai, has over 1,200 shops and 275 dining outlets. Opened in November of 2008, this multi-billion dollar mall has over 400 stores for men, women, and children.

Many of them are international names like Burberry, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Gucci H&M Nike Calvin Klein UnderArmour Crocs Santikos Palladium Tory Burch Salvatore Ferragamo Swarovski Zegna

Old Souk Market

You can get lost among traditional shopkeepers and snake charmers, or you can try your hand at bargaining with them. You’ll find everything from gold jewelery to various fruits. It is one of those places that won’t be on most visitors’ itineraries, but if you have a couple extra hours in your schedule, it will be well worth it.

After an afternoon spent strolling through alleys lined with shops and restaurants, stop for a cool drink before heading back out into traffic (and heat). Old Souk Market is located near Bastakiya district, so head there for lunch once you’re done browsing. And don’t forget to take some photos!

Dubai Marina

The Dubai Marina is one of my favorite places to visit in Dubai. This yacht-filled community is located along Jumeirah Beach, so it’s ideal for sunbathing, swimming, kayaking and more. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, it’s a fun place to hang out!

There are tons of great restaurants on site and there’s also a large shopping mall called The Mall at JBR that’s filled with big brand names like Hermes and Gucci. If you want something really unique, check out The Floating Seahorse it’s literally a boat-shaped pool bar filled with booze!

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR)

Located along Dubai’s vibrant Jumeirah Beach, JBR is home to some of the city’s most popular beaches. You can shop at various outlets and enjoy a great meal at one of many cafes or restaurants located on or near JBR. The promenade at JBR is home to various souvenir shops and marketplaces where you can find anything from unique artisan crafts and jewelry to souvenirs such as postcards, magnets, keychains, stickers and more. The Palm Jumeirahe is also located on or near JBR so be sure not to miss it when you’re here!

Burj Al Arab

If you’re going to visit Dubai, your stay simply won’t be complete without a tour of Burj Al Arab. This iconic hotel stands above Jumeirah Beach, and it offers incredible views from its restaurants and bars. After touring the luxurious hotel, you can also enjoy a meal at its Tides restaurant or explore the Red sea just off shore by boat.

Wild Wadi Water Park

Water play in the desert? Sure it’s possible! Located near the Burj al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Wild Wadi Water Park is a fantastic five star water park with plenty of Arabian themed fun for everyone. Twenty nine rides and attractions are available including canopies, body slides, tube slides, swimming pools and more.

All of this makes for a safe, relaxing and enjoyable family day out. What’s more, thousands of litres of water splash onto your body as you go down the slides – how cool is that?

Gold Souk MarketOne of my favorite places to visit in Dubai is also one of its most iconic markets. The Gold Souk Market (or Gold Market) is as close as you can get to a walking history lesson without hiring a tour guide.

Here, you’ll find jewelry stores, fabric shops and tons more where you can buy gold accessories like bracelets, necklaces and pendants. The best part? It’s all handcrafted! If you are looking for something unique and special, consider stopping by here during your next trip.

Dubai Miracle Garden

The Dubai Miracle Garden is definitely one of the most unique places you can visit in Dubai. This massive flower park is shaped like a sand mandala, and it’s usually created out of thousands upon thousands of flowers every year! It has stunning landscaping and gorgeous fountains, too. There are also plenty of opportunities for visitors to explore nearby attractions and attractions like The Atlantis Hotel.

The Palm Islands

While there are many incredible places to visit in Dubai, few compare with what’s been dubbed the city within a city. The Palm Islands include three man-made islands shaped like palm trees (hence their name), each with its own set of features.

Designed by acclaimed architect Nadine Meqasim and set against a skyline that includes skyscrapers, homes, restaurants, and bars, each island has something unique to offer. If you only have time for one island, head straight for frond, which is shaped like a frond (aka leaf) from a palm tree. The islands’ perfect beaches span about six miles total and make it easy to work on your tan as you wind down from an action-packed day.

Global Village

Dubai has an impressive history that dates back more than 3,000 years. In recent decades, it’s gone from a small fishing village to a global hub for business and tourism, and one of its most unique features is Global Village.

This indoor/outdoor shopping mall replicates small villages from around the world and features street performers, entertainment venues and international cuisine. You can travel by tour bus rental Dubai here!
