Iqbal Yousuf, CEO of Aptech, and Rashid Qureishi, Executive Director of Alkhidmat Karachi, both signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Director of Community Services Alkhidmat Karachi, Qazi Syed Sadruddeen, Director of Mawakhat and Skill Development Program, Yousuf Muhyiuddeen, and County Manager of Aptech, Javed Iqbal were all present at the signing.
Rashid Qureishi, who spoke at the event, said that Alkhidmat’s ambition is to assist thousands of Karachi kids who have just completed their Matric and Inter exams in developing advanced IT skills and establishing respectable careers. Alkhidmat has created a special IT Scholarship to help make this goal a reality.
An entry test will be held on a huge scale on July 3 itself. The Bano Qaabil program offers 4- month duration courses on Web Designing, Web Development, Amazon and advanced computers.
These courses will be handed absolutely free of cost to the named scholars, and on the completion of these courses, successful scholars will be awarded a instrument as well as placement openings in IT enterprises. either, those intending to launch their freelancing careers will be suitable to do so, therefore serving themselves, their families as well as their nation.
